Some were more noted then others, some famous only in their circles, many whose influence spread far and wide beyond what they had ever hoped to imagine. They essentially became legends in their own times.
While its sad to loss anyone, regardless of who they were, regardless of their stardom, or not, especially for their families who now have a hole in their lives. To me , personally I find it hard to relate to many of the younger stars who've passed. As they weren't in my generation, or in material I know or in many ways even in my world.
My world generally consist of classic movies and TV. Therefore I know very few of the new stars, and can not really relate to them, or their series. There are a couple of notable exceptions, as far a new shows.
Micky Rooney, Shirley Temple, Robin Williams, Lauren Bacall, of course, James Garner. That's not counting all the writers directors and producers, and other behind the scenes people we loose , without who's talent, we wouldn't have the movies and television we've had for decades. Many of them don't get the recognition they deserve. That doesn't make their lives any less important, or their works in their lives any less important. Everyone deserves the same celebration of their life, as stars like Robin William, and Bacall , and other stars get.
So when you read about a another famous star leaving us, its important, and its a piece of our national heritage, and remember your lives are just as important as theirs, only difference is the world doesn't know your name and deeds.
So celebrate your life, and those in your life.
